Pit Stop in Melbourne

Melbourne is pretty much the same as I left it – with the exception of a 3 new Prime Minister’s in the last 6 months, a couple of new inner city alleyways have been created, Vietnamese springroll lunch bars have sprung up in the city (see what I did there) and petrol has gone up 20c/litre.

Logistics of Leaving

The past fortnight I haven’t managed to sleep through the night; waking up to start my day at 3.14am, 4.46am, 5.02am; it has got a little better now in my final couple of days before I leave, or maybe I have just got better at the early starts. Fugue State

I have reached that stage again; the one where I am not sleeping enough and my first thoughts when I bing awake at 4am are ones of organisation, planning and packing. I am not surprisingly dead set exhausted and dragging through the week in a type of fugue state.
